Red Hat Tea

Years ago, two fifteen-year-old young ladies became friends. They are still friends to this day, having charted growing up together, double-dating, being bridesmaids in one anothers weddings, child-rearing and homeschooling, and becoming red hat ladies of 50. RuthAnn learned the fine art of gracious hospitality at a very young age. Her mother was a gifted hostess, always gracious with a welcome mat that was always out! As a token of her love for her friends, RuthAnn has held a red hat tea for each one as they turn 50 years old. And this time it was my turn. What a lovely red hat garden party she held for me. I am still basking in the glow! Eleven lovely ladies. . .friends from long-ago. . .high school and college friends, bridesmaids at my wedding, best friends and new friends, all melded together into a tea party that was exquisitely prepared and lovingly conducted by RuthAnn with no detail forgotten. As the days go by, I will be sharing more photos from Sunday's tea. . .and I'd love to share the tea details with you, as RuthAnn remembered everything with great care! Thank you, RuthAnn, for creating a wonderful memory and a great time! The celebration was wonderful!
