The weather is slowly warming up, but today exhibited high overcast and very little sunshine. Our family walk today was along the river where we made our way on chunky railroad ballast where an old track used to be. The dogs came with us and enjoyed chasing cottontail rabbits and exploring the shore. Fresh green grasses are starting to appear, but no flowers yet. Instead, I enjoyed the dried seed pods, lichens, and pretty rocks along the way. It was a lovely day!
