Blogging Friends

I've discovered that blogging is a delightful way to meet new friends. I love the way one blog links up to the next and how I can follow links from here to there. Some blogs are on my favorites list and I view them faithfully each day. One of those places is Patricia's blog at www.morningramble.blogspot.com . Patricia is a faithful blogger, posting something new daily. The simple life on a Texas homestead is depicted daily as she talks about spinning, knitting, animals, quilting, cooking, and things of beauty. Her posts are refreshment for the spirit! Through a link on Patricia's blog I found Inga's blog. I've started visiting her blog daily now too. Inga is a gifted quilter who lives in Norway. A career musician, her antidotes are cheerful and her perspective interesting. Photographs of her homeland depict exquisite beauty! Majestic mountains and beautiful sunsets provide inspiration and rest for my heart. Today when I visited Inga's blog I was so surprised to see that she wrote about me, La Tea Dah! She mentioned that she had been visiting my blog and enjoyed the photos of the dainty teacups I shared, so when she was at her favorite knitting shop today and saw a dainty, strawberry teacup and saucer, she just had to post a picture of it for me. She then shared the link to my blog. So Inga, thank you so much! I enjoyed the photo and appreciate you sharing my link. For those who are interested in reading Inga's blog, Quilting Above the Artic Circle, it's at www.quiltartic.blogspot.com . Maybe I'll see you there!

*The picture today is for Inga. I wish you could stop by for tea some day!

Teapot: Susan Branch
Teacup: Royal Doulton
Tablecloth: Auntie Evie

  5. Katie, when I can capture the time and attention of one of my sons, I will add your link to mine. I'm not as computer literate as they are. :)

BTW, I appreciated your WalMart post. Very interesting topic. As a seamstress, I've noted that the WalMart mentality is changing the 'norm' for quality and fine seams and sewing skills are not valued as they once were. Sad, huh.

  6. Inga, I'd like to add Artic Quilting to my links page also, if it's okay with you.

    Thanks.
