October is here! And with it autumn arrived in full force! The lazy days of summer seemed to go on and on, but with the recent full moon, cool weather arrived and the colors are starting to change. Red and golden hues meld with many shades of green, creating beauty all around. A trip to the cabin this week-end revealed not only vibrant colors, but remnants of snow from a passing storm the day before. It seemed so sudden after days of sandals and T-shirts. Jackets, socks and shoes, and warmer clothing were sought and a cozy, warm fire was built in the wood stove. A rainy drizzle did not keep me from enjoying and appreciating the beautiful colors, so I took my camera for a walk so I could share scenes from the day with you. Hopefully they can express the joy I felt on this lovely day. Enjoy!

'Then came October, full of merry glee.'

  2. Isn't nature glorious! I walked outside this a.m. and the crisp fresh air felt so good - looked up and saw almost every star God put in the sky -clear and gorgeous!
October is by far my favorite month of the year!
    Have a wonderful week.
    Blessings,
    Sandy :)
