On Domesticity

On domesticity: "I'm good with kids and decorating, of course, but if the cooking were up to me, we'd all starve in a really cute room."

Mary Engelbreit

Thank you for all your comments to this post. Mary Engelbreit is a favorite of mine as well! And yes, the aprons are mine. I have more --- someday I'll share them with you as well.

  3. Heehee! I am totally down with that quote!

Thanks for visiting me- after checking out your blogs, it doesn't seem the least bit of an unusual comment to talk about how to improve the icky old boca burgers. You must be a health food gourmet!

That is so funny, I just read that quote and saved it to share at some point. It is so totally me. When I have parties the last thought on my mind is what food to serve. I am all about the ambience. Food? Oh, whoops!

  24. I love the aprons ...I am so sorry that I never kept those old family heirloom-aprons! Aprons seem like such a thing of the past now...and to think that my first sewing project was an apron (back in 1966).
