Oh, I wish I could spend the afternoon with you! Instead I've tagged you to play the middle name game. If you don't have one, you can choose any name you like ;-) The miniature tea set is adorable.
What an awesome quote! And if you want to read an amazing essay, read Dillard's "Living like Weasels." It's one of my favorite things to read aloud...either to an American Lit class (juniors) or even to adults. I've even shared it with Bible study groups... For a great collection of essays, read her Teaching a stone to Talk. As you can see, she's a favorite of mine...
Well this past weekend I spent Saturday afternoon and part of Sunday afternoon with my granddaughter, so they certainly weren't wasted afternoons! The memories will be nice for both of us. She loved the little tea set as much as I did!
Thank you for commenting on my blog post. I am always happy to hear from blog readers. Your words encourage and inspire me. I am glad you stopped by to share conversation, recipes, ideas, and thoughts on creating a welcoming home.
Can't put it any plainer than that! Great advice.
