Actually, I think I should ask Dad to write this post about our tea room experience. I can assure you that his perspective would be very different than mine! He arrived in good spirits, not dampened by an attitude of propriety. In fact, I think it was his goal to spice things up quite a bit! Friendly and joking with everyone, my ultra-keen sense of "is this proper" was tested to the core! The tea room owner wasn't quite sure how to take this unusual customer, but by the end of our time together she warmed up and seemed to enjoy our pleasure. It was fun having tea with Dad! Here he is again, waving at you!

  2. Dad looks like he had a spectacular time of it! It's good for those tea waitresses to have a "challenge" now and then. He looks like a man that I would enjoy having a cuppa with.
