Actually, I think I should ask Dad to write this post about our tea room experience. I can assure you that his perspective would be very different than mine! He arrived in good spirits, not dampened by an attitude of propriety. In fact, I think it was his goal to spice things up quite a bit! Friendly and joking with everyone, my ultra-keen sense of "is this proper" was tested to the core! The tea room owner wasn't quite sure how to take this unusual customer, but by the end of our time together she warmed up and seemed to enjoy our pleasure. It was fun having tea with Dad! Here he is again, waving at you!

  1. oh your dad looks like such a friendly person! love that smile and wave. looks like you had a lovely day, and a fun time.

  2. Dad looks like he had a spectacular time of it! It's good for those tea waitresses to have a "challenge" now and then. He looks like a man that I would enjoy having a cuppa with.

  3. The "What If" women bloggers are having tea this week with Make Mine Pink, and I wanted to stop in and say hello. But then I saw this photo of your dad and it made me smile so much, that I had to leave a comment here. Thanks for such a joyful visit!

  4. Oh your dad looks like such an adorable person. It just makes me smile to look at him! I'm sure it was such fun taking him to tea!

I'm so glad I stopped by. Please come visit me as I'm hosting several tea parties this week. BTW, bring your parents along, too!
