Gracious Hospitality

Although I prefer lavender wands with small ribbon and lots of weaving, I had fun making this quick and simple version using wide ribbon and loose weave. I chose not to weave or wind the stems of this wand, although after I took the picture I did wrap a loose, small ribbon around the base of the stem to help them dry so that they remain together rather than fanning out. I thought the lady bugs on this ribbon were quirky and would be fun for a wand.
