The "Blind"

This 'blind' is built right at the edge of the pond. Special windows are placed on three sides from which occupants can view the waterfowl close up. It's fun to sit and watch geese and ducks swim right beside you --- oblivious that they are being watched. Sometimes otters, muscrats or beavers can also be seen. On a warm sunny day in the summer, large turtles can be observed sunning themselves on a log or on the floating platform that's been set up on the water by wildlife officials.
