Lavender Baskets
Lavender baskets are fragrant, pretty, and easy to make. This one took me about an hour to create. After it dries, the flowers will retain their lavender appearance and will make a pretty addition to home decor throughout the winter months.
What a nifty idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful idea! Thank you for taking the time to post the extra "how to" photos. I want to try and make one for our home.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the tutorial! That is absolutely beautiful ~ now I'm going to have to go and find some lavender. There was a lavender farm close to us when we lived in England and I loved driving through that village ~ the fragrance was fabulous.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing the instructions, too.
ReplyDeleteDear Gracious, How inspiring you are. Today I documented the sewing of four pair of shorts for Dash Hawk, assembly line style. I have not posted it yet for I have not gotten the project compleated. I loved shared knowledge. Remember the elders and the quilting bees of yore. Your blog is reminiscent of it. I have gained affiliation at the idea of sharing what I know and have learned during my 25 yr marriage.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful idea. I always appreciate how you walk us through these projects. I have a feeling you have some teaching experience!
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty project. I do hope I'll have enough stems from my lavendar this year. . .if not, by next year . .. it will bloom in abundance.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tutorial.
What a beautiful project! Thank you so much for sharing not only the pretty thing itself, but also how to make it!

How lovely. I've made lavendar wands in the past but I had never heard of a lavendar basket. I will definitely have to give it a try. I've read that in victorian times, lavendar was used often for crafting. It's quite wonderful to see it's crafty usefulness continue on. Thank you.
ReplyDeletelove them, i copied out your directions for a lavender wand last year but have no lavender to make one with : (
