I awoke from a sofa-nap to hear sounds like jet planes flying overhead. It was distant thunder on the next mountain ridge. The sky was a study in darkness and in light. The rumble grew louder and louder on this hot June day, eventually giving way to a rush of wind followed by rain and hail. All progress was halted on Brent's woodshed as we observed the passing storm from cabin windows. After it passed things dried up quickly and progress continued, but in a much cooler atmosphere.
