Sharing a Peaceful Day

Yesterday was peaceful and filled with contrasts. The drive to our cabin yesterday started out quite hot, as temperatures were around the 100 degree F. mark. Skies were blue and clear. The drive-by photos above show some of the scenes we observed on our way. Robin's Lavender Farm is showing a purple haze as her plants are starting to bloom. Growing wheat on rolling hills waved in gentle breeze. A vineyard of perfectly straight rows of grapes was being tilled by farmer on tractor as we went by. Teens in a strawberry patch picked the first of this years berries for sale at a locally famous fruit stand. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood --- warm, blue, and inviting.

It's fun to think that the storms that pass over you eventually could come to me.

  6. These are places along the route in the valley below ---- the cabin is at the top of a nearby mountain.
