Mountain Tea Towel

My day was spent quietly. I enjoyed hemming a tea towel and adding lace trim to the bottom. This is a "Martha Stewart" flour sack towel. Although I like the texture and weave of the textile, it is of a very unbleached color and I had a hard time deciding if I should add the white lace or not. Rather than a deep hem with lace applied on top of towel as I usually do, I added the lace to the bottom and decided I liked the effect.

  4. I love this picture because I have an almost identical basket. I love it for carrying "stuff." The pictures make it look like a great week-end.
