Tomato & Herb Bruschetta

A favorite recipe for a hot summer day!

1 1/2 pounds tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/3c. fresh basil, chopped
2 tsp. fresh oregano, chopped
1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. lemon juice

6 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick slices of crusty bread, grilled or toasted.

In medium bowl, gently mix tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano, oil, & lemon juice. Season with salt. Spoon tomato mixture over grilled or toasted bread
slices and serve.

Serves 6
