Sweet and tender, this dough-filled shell contained a yummy filling made from Lotus Root. Cut into wedges, we all shared in this delightful confectionary.
we eat these often, maybe too often : ) Each time we go shopping at the asian markets we get one to share, and sometimes the ones made of sticky rice on the outside.
It was so yummy! I couldn't decide what type to order. . .four choices. . .but decided upon the lotus finally. I wish we had more Asian markets here. I do shop at one here locally for baked, steamed, seasoned, fried, and other types of tofu, though. Next time I go I think I'll ask about mooncakes!
