Our two large maple trees in the front yard suffered some storm damage, but fortunately they remained standing. Some of our neighbors did not fare so well. A large tree fell on one neighbor's shop and another neighbor lost a beautiful, tall pine tree.
glad your trees did ok, they are beautiful. I can just imagine a big garden party under them !
ReplyDeleteThese were the first trees we planted in our yard when we moved here. This area was a dry, desert field. Now, it's a green lawn with trees. These are a soft-wood maple, so they sometimes do not withstand wind as well as some of our other trees. We planted them, though, because we were in a hurry for some fast growth!
