'These early November hours
That crimson the creeper's leaf across
Like a splash of blood, intense, abrupt,
O'er a shield; else gold from rim to boss
And lay it for show on the fairy-cupped
Elf-needled mat of moss.'
R. Browning

I don't really understand this poem, LOL. But I love Robert Browning so I appreciate the thought behind it...

What a great photo--reminds me to be thankful that I don't have to go outside and pump my own glass of drinking water.
