Four Red Hats and Three Ladies
These friends since college still enjoy fun times together. Sharron, RuthAnn and Karen are busy professionals, yet find time to relax and have fun. Frequently their social events are centered around 'tea'. As I look at these smiling faces, I am reminded of how common bonds of friendship tie the hearts of individuals together during times and events that matter. Each of us, individually, faces challenges and growth. . .and connections with our friends is what keeps us going when times become difficult. Each of these friends has faced challenges; they represent a long and courageous battle with breast cancer; achievement of a PhD.; and the agony of infertility with subsequent victory. But, through determination and the love and support of dear friends, they have each succeeded in achieving their goals (life, education, children) and are enjoying life to the fullest. What wonderful role models they have become.
