What a happy picture! Both of these ladies, Karen and Margie, are dear cousins of mine. They are first cousins of each other; their parents are first cousins of my grandmother. So doesn't that make us second cousins once removed? It gets complicated, so I just stick with 'cousins'. Both of these women grew up in missionary families and lived overseas until their late teens. They have wonderful stories and experiences to tell. And, I'm sure their childhood experiences influenced their decision to choose the nursing profession. I admire their energy and 'take charge' natures.
