Tea Party

The Tea Party

I had a little tea party
This afternoon at three.
'Twas very small-
Three guest in all-
Just I, myself and me.

Myself ate all the sandwiches,
While I drank up the tea;
'Twas alos I woh ate the pie
And passed the cake to me.

  3. I've always loved this little poem. And aren't there times when the best tea party is just for one? I need to stop more often and set up and enjoy a nice, relaxing tea - just me! ~Adrienne~

  9. Am enjoying "Gracious Hospitality". Your Tea Party and the poem were really special. I "borrowed" your poem for my backyardpond. I am just a new blogger. You have wonderful ideas my dear. I don't think I'll ever learn.

  10. My Nanny used to quote this poem to me - her own variation, anyway! I love your photo collage - my blooms are just beginning to be nice after a week of rain! They are loving the sunshine as much as I am! I'll have to nip out with the camera and try to capture their grace and loveliness!

    P.S. Did you know your other blog header has wandered to about halfway down the page and is covering up your posts? Headers can be such rebels, eh?
