Old Valentine Cards and Candle Light

Crystal, candles, red linens, and handmade Valentine's have graced our dining room table this week, at least until Wednesday when the center candle was replaced by a dozen red roses. The cheerful 'red' has worked to counteract the still-gray days outside. Kim from Daisy Cottage has reminded me, through her inspirational posts, about the value of finding vintage treasures at Goodwill. Amongst the mundane are treasures to be found. The little pedestal dishes were found at Goodwill on a recent trip, and although they'll be more frequently used for veggie dips or as a place to float a pretty rose, this week they worked well as candle holders for a Valentine's table.

  2. I love the colors of this vignette. So very pretty. The glass was a nice thrift find! The roses that replaced are beautiful, too.
