Mother's notebooks, sketch pads, and photo albums all contain pictures of the snowdrop. They were one of her favorite flowers. I always think of her when they bloom in the spring.
I remember one summer your mom wanted to create a "white" garden. I helped her create a new spot on her property and put the plants in. Inwardly I wasn't sure how it was going to look; I mean, all the flowers were going to be white. No color at all. But, I had to admit to her later, It was really pretty.
