To persevere is always a reflection of the state of one's inner life, one's philosophy and one's perspective.

Rylan's notes: I (finally) managed to get a picture of this guy. I had been trying for a week and a half. Again, I used my Sigma 50-500 and my D30 [previous Canon].

  1. Wow, I didn't know we had birds like that! Great picture, Rylan!

  2. Tell your boys I'm really enjoying their photography! I especially like this bird. Did you notice how the refection curves his straight bill. Do you know what kind it is? I've never seen one before. He's striking.

  3. Rylan says it's a 'black-necked stilt'. This photo was taken about a mile from where we live.

  4. Fabulous photo ~so clear.
    Have a great week.

    Sandy :)

  5. He is wonderful, was he migratory or stationary?
