“Conversation. What is it? A Mystery! It's the art of never seeming bored, of touching everything with interest, of pleasing with trifles, of being fascinating with nothing at all.” Guy de Maupassant
You might think that I could have figured this quote out without too much difficulty. Perhaps I could rewrite it this way: What is conversation? It is definitely a mystery. It is the art of never seeming bored; it is the art of touching everything with interest; it is the art of pleasing in small ways; it is the art of being fascinated by nothing at all.
Would you agree with that rewriting? I'm still not sure I've properly defined the final two.

Conversation is truly an art form. Some don't do it so well and others are delightful. I am intrigued by the art of conversation.
