The Tea Pouch

Most tea lovers enjoy specific kinds of tea, even if it is the bagged type. It can be a real let-down to ask for a cup of tea in a restaurant and receive a sub-par selection of tea. Sometimes tea isn't even available, but a cup of hot water usually is. Most restaurants gladly provide a hot pot of water and a mug as part of an order. That's where the little tea pouch comes in. Mine stays in my purse and it routinely restocked with my favorite teas and packets of stevia for sweetening. It contains four little pockets and holds quite a lovely selection of teas and sweetener. Once filled, it folds into quarters and it attached by an elastic and a button. It's a very compact size and fits nicely into my purse. I bought mine off of etsy.com years ago, but it would be quite simple to make if you're so inclined. I liked the concept when I first saw it, but never expected that I would use it so faithfully and appreciate it so. It's a very handy little tea accoutrement. Take away tea! In a tea pouch!

  2. Thank you for sharing your tea pouch. This is a great way to always have a good cup of tea. I may make one - it would solve the problem of how to carry tea with me!

  3. That's a great little thing! I have a little tin...originally a freebie in a Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea box...from the 1970s that I use. Your tea pouch is a great idea!
