Tea Herbs for Relaxation



Tea Herbs for Relaxation

1 pint water
1 tsp. chamomile leaves
1 tsp. peppermint leaves
1 tsp. honey

Bring purified water to a boil and remove from heat. Place herbs in water and stir gently. Steep for 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy with honey.

Peppermint and chamomile do wonders for your body by relaxing muscles and calming mood. This tea hits the spot after a long and stressful day!

  2. Oh I think that I should have planted some chamomile. This sounds absolutely marvelous. Course I do have chamomile tea thanks to Celestial Seasonings, though there must be great satisfaction in doing it the old fashioned way.

    By the way, has anyone told you lately what a peach you are?!

  3. I am thinking of walking to the garden and cutting some chamomile and peppermint for tea right now! I am not too familiar with making tea from herbs and thought the chamomile flowers were for tea but I see you use the leaves.
