Lucy, I'm home. . .

When you feel dog tired at night,
it may be because you've growled all day long.

Please meet Lucy, a dog whom I've never heard growl. She belongs to Karleen's family and is a real sweetheart. She was named Lucy because Karleen's husband, Richard, wanted to be able to use his best Ricky Ricardo voice and announce "Lucy, I'm home". Isn't that sweet?

PS: To Karleen --- I know you are missing Lucy right now, so I posted a picture for you. :D

  1. What a cute Lucy! Seeing pictures of cute dogs or cats makes me want one.

  2. she is so sweet!!!.Jo

  3. Is Lucy staying with you for a while? She is a beautiful dog and I do like the story behind her name.

That quote...acckkk...must put it on the fridge. :D

  4. What a sweet dog. The story is cute.

Our dogs name is Lucy too, but we usually say "LUCY! You've got some splaining to do!

  6. Linda, I love the idea that your Lucy-dog has some 'splaining' to do as well! So funny! I love Lucy! Our youngest bought several entire seasons of the show on DVD and we've had so much fun watching them together as a family again. Good, clean fun and great laughs!
