"It is good to say thank you to the Lord, to sing praises to the God who is above all gods. Every morning tell Him, 'Thank you for your kindness,' and every evening rejoice in all his faithfulness."
Psalm 92:1 - 2 TLB
*Smell-o-Blog features would be awesome this morning! The lilacs are smelling wonderfully fragrant. Walking under the lilac trees is like walking into a perfume bottle!

Thanks for sharing, I am so missing the lilacs I left behind in our old yard. I think I can smell them!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, lilacs are perfect for your blog. I know that they are a sign of hospitality if planted beside a front door.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous. I do want to plant a lilac this color in my yard in Washington!!
ReplyDeleteHow I LOVE lilacs. When we first moved into our current home 13 years ago, we had lilac bushes to the right of our house boarding the neighbors home. One day they were in full bloom and I thought about picking some when I got home. When I arrived home, that neighbor had chopped them down to the ground!!!! I could have cried! It has taken them a long time to get that big again. I think that neighbor must not have the sense of smell...otherwise why would someone do that?!
ReplyDeleteHow sad that your lilac bushes were cut to the ground, Linda. Especially when they were at their peak! They smell so wonderful when they are in full bloom!
