Karleen came for lunch today so we could celebrate her birthday. It was fun to chat and relax in the quiet of the day. Our menu today was:
Chilled Cucumber Soup with Whole Wheat Toast Points Herb, Veggie & Viola Salad with Cashew Dressing Vegetable Tofu Quiche Saucy Fruit Salad with Dark Chocolate Barley Tea Sparkling Apple Juice
It all looked too beautiful to eat - almost! Your salad with violets was especially pretty and I'm sure it was delicious as well. What a special way to celebrate a birthday. :)
I want to enjoy one of your luncheons at your house; you live up to your Gracious Hospitality blog name, indeedy. Now I will visit your other blog to find the recipes, especially for the Saucy Fruit Salad With Dark Chocolate.

What a fabulous lunch you prepared. Karleen appreciated it I'm sure. Chocolate in salad? Why didn't someone tell me this was allowed? LOL
