Clutter, the Poetry of Our Homes

"Clutter is the poetry of our homes. It is an intimate view that is not always perfect - a few dishes in the sink, books piled next to the bed. Everything in its place may give a certain satisfaction, but a lived-in room exudes comfort and warmth."

  4. What a great quote! I think I'll print it out and put it above my desk - or on the refrigerator - so I will remember not to let clutter get me down.

  5. I constantly fight clutter, maybe I should just let it be.

  6. I think clutter is a "fact of life". Although a tidy home is appreciated, too much can make a family uncomfortable.

  7. My whole house must exude comfort and warmth. Ha! I like it explained that way. Never, ever will I ever have an immaculate home. Just not my style. Best wishes, Tammy

  8. A great quote, LaDonna. I'm so glad you shared it with us. It's true the a home can become to bare and cold if we declutter too much just at it can become overwhelming with too much clutter. A like the idea of a lived-in look with a little organization thrown in...if that's possible. :o)
