The summer seems to be flying by so fast! Have you noticed the 'back to school' advertising that's showing up in the newspaper? Or the school kiosk in stores where each school has listed supplies needed for the upcoming school year? It's hard to believe that August is just about here.
How has your summer been going? Have you done something especially creative? fun? helpful? interesting? Have you traveled to another country or been to the beach? Have you braved bugs and bears on a camping trip? Or taken the little ones in your life to summer camp or a music festival?
We haven't had a blog-hop for awhile, so I think it's time again. Let's see how everyone is doing and what's up with their summer-time. Instead of me listing blogs, this time I'd like YOU to add your blog to this post; an invitation for others to drop by and visit you. Mr. Linky is the doorway to a virtual visit by each of us to the back porch of blogging friends. There's ice cold lavender lemonade on my porch table. Let me pour you a glass. What's on yours? Cookies? For me?
I've left a link to my blog. I love reading yours, the honey looks delicious, I would never have thought of doing this.
ReplyDeleteWe were on a wagon train adventure in North Dakota this summer! There are many photos and posts about it on our blog - it was indeed memorable! In August, we plan to journey to Rhode Island for a week at the beach. The summer just passes too quickly!

ReplyDeleteI just blogged on my foodie blog (not Kettle and Cup) about everything that has been going on this summer..it has been BUSY!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea. Well I am a posting maniac so you'll find something new maybe a couple new posts everyday at my blog. I'm busy showing off the Puget Sound Area while I'm here. When I head back to Southern California on August 16th the images will change dramatically :0)
ReplyDeleteThank you LaTeaDah for this refreshing idea and the lemonade...
Blog hopping, nice idea! We are leaving a week from today for a three-week vacation.
ReplyDeleteFor those who don't know, I started my summer the end of May with a trip back to my hometown and a four-day celebration of my 50th high school reunion! Click on June 08 to see those photos!
Thanks, LaTeaDah for doing this!

Delightful as usual! The lemonade sounds so inviting. Now my summer travels don't begin until September. This summer it is just a delight to sit in my backyard with a glass of iced tea.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to stop in for a visit to all the new blogs! I did a picture and post on my blog this week of a recent visit to a lavender farm. It was a lovely day, with the rows of lavender blowing in the breeze, and the sound of thousands of bees buzzing on the blossoms.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea this bloghop! I'm away from home visiting our grandbaby and parents. Will take photos tomorrow to post on my blog in the evening. In the meantime. I'm going to hug and kiss her to pieces! (no time for posting photos just now)
ReplyDeleteOh, can it be a post already done? This sounds like fun. I'll get back and visit the gals on your list tomorrow...I hope!
ReplyDeleteI've been travelling quite a bit this summer. We went to Ireland via Pennsylvania and DC, and I did post while on the trip. I love coming here to be refreshed with all of your lovely tea and garden ideas.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to do this yesterday after I posted in my blog! I'm having a give away.
ReplyDeleteHello again and what a great idea! I've been travelling more than usual ~ for both business and fun. Happy Summer! ~Arleen
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun...and is the first time I've joined something like this. I'm already tasting the lavender lemonade! It's delicious =)
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed a visit from my niece for a week. She enjoyed photography as much as I do and she is very talented!
ReplyDeleteI am going to enjoy blog hopping, thanks for doing this.
ReplyDeleteYou may notice a few snow photos on my blog, sorry. It is winter here.
Although I'm not new to blogging my hospitality blog is new. I'm so enjoying visiting all of these beautiful blogs. So many of you must be photographers. Your pictures are so beautiful. I'm more of writer than a photographer. Thanks for the blog hop ... it's fun!
