"She could not imagine that Heaven was better than being where she was, slowly growing warm and comfortable, sipping the hot, sweet, ginger tea, seeing Ma, and Grace, and Pa and Carrie, and Mary all enjoying their own cups of it and hearing the storm that could not touch them here."

Love the photo and sweet ginger tea.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. I've just started re-reading the Wilder series again. I love that cup and I think I have some in blue...
ReplyDeleteOh, La Tea Dah, I love the Little House on the Prairie series of books. Have a set of all of them! I've never had sweet ginger tea but it sounds good. Nice photos. Sincerely, Susan
ReplyDeleteLove your greening hills and this quote and the tea cup and your mother is very talented. Such a pretty napkin.
ReplyDeleteThe scoop is that I have put in your blog manually and can get to you in the good old-fashioned way from my good old-fashioned list. When I see a new post pop up, I can just go down to the old list because, for some reason, using the new widget won't bring me here...yet. I know those geeks of yours will get it straightened out one day.
