Juxtaposition

Brisk days are melding with sunshine, creating an interesting juxtaposition of summer and autumn. Tree leaves are turning golden yellow with touches of orange starting to show, making a vibrant and colorful scene. Still green plants and grasses are adorned with the colors of late summer flowers. The beautiful purple of the autumn crocus compliments the yellow of fallen leaves, providing a spark of beauty in a season where freshness fades away and is replaced with nothingness and winter rest. After the winter, early spring crocuses, in the same purple color will come forth, but in not nearly as grand a scale as these. Smaller flowers, but with a beauty all their own. Are you taking time each day to enjoy the little surprises that nature shares this time of year?
