Red Work

During this season of the year I am in the mood for 'red work'. There's something festive and cheery about stitching in red floss and choosing holiday themes. This is a tea towel I made recently for my December tea towel exchange partner. For the past two years I've enjoyed exchanging embroidered tea towels with other participants on a monthly basis. This is our last exchange. Our group is closing after this swap. What fun I've had; what great friends I've made! My linen drawer is full of beautiful embroidered tea towels, each representing a unique and special friend. Thank you, friends! I will miss you!

  2. Redwork is a favorite thing of mine and I'm delighted to some your holiday tea towel. I have a party coming up and today I put together redwork embroidery kits as take-home favors.
