My mom collects Sunbonnet Sue things, too. Seems to me she has a similar quilt! This one is beautiful! Too bad you can't find out the history. It would be so interesting, I'm sure!
I just found your blog through Daisy Cottage's links. I am thrilled I did. Such a lovely Blog - so inspirational with all of the quotes, I was glad to share my cuppa with you! Those sun bonnet Sue quilts remind me of my childhood too. Though I believe I had "Holly Hobby" decorations in my room instead. Thankyou again, SarahJ
How sweet....I have the valance my great grandmother made for my oldest sisters window when she was a baby, and its a sunbonnet sue. A well loved theme for many of us
