The baby squirrels seem to be content and well-cared for in their basket nest in the trees. We haven't seen their mother, but the pecan halves we have left for her are gone and she has reorganized the nest material between each time we check on the babies. We have had much rain, and I've worried about the little critters, but they seem to burrough down deeply into their nest and are warm and safe. I'm so thankful that they are doing well.
I think they need names, don't you? If you have an idea of what to name them, please leave a comment with your ideas. I'm looking forward to your responses.
