My friend, Anjeanette, has five-year-old twins who are enthusiastic kindergarten students this year. Their school is having a fund-raising auction in April, and their Grandmother Lois from Arizona sent them this beautiful quilt to be auctioned at their school benefit. What a loving grandma!
Isn't this a fun quilt? Set on black, it is quilted with gold thread in a fun, scrolly design. Smaller blocks are in bold, bright colors and a variety of teapots in wild and wacky shapes are featured on blocks in various sizes. Lois has named this "Pompous Teapot Quilt". Quite an appropriate name, I think.
What a lovely quilt and a very generous grandma!!

I love this quilt! The colors are so vivid. We had someone donate a handmade afghan to our carnival Friday. People love so much to get homemade gifts.
