Honey Still for Tea?

Stands the church clock at ten to three?
Is there honey still for tea?

Rupert Brooke
The Old Vincarage, Grantchester

[to read the entire poem]

  1. I've never read the poem or heard of the poet, but it was pretty funny. Sometimes I feel that way about England and I've never been there.

Beautiful little pot of tea and, believe it or not, I almost had some tea around three. I could have used a good stiff brew.

  2. Love poetry, love the poem.

  3. I am honored to have my tea served on your mom's beautiful tray.

  4. Love this!
