My confused little Christmas cactus refused to bloom during the holidays. So, I was delighted a few days ago to discover white blossoms budding out all over, looking just like popcorn! Now, beautiful white blossoms grace the ends of long chains of greenery, a fact that brings me much joy!
Better late than never! Your little Christmas cactus might have gotten Christmas mixed up with Easter, La Tea Dah. But what a wonderful surprise to find the lovely white blossoms. Congratulations! Thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Susan
ReplyDeletesuch a lovely surprise to help you usher in spring! I guess this year it wanted to be an Easter cactus :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...
ReplyDeleteOur Christmas cactus was confused this year too. Then it started to die after having it for about 25 years. I was so sad, but we saved part of it; however, Joey has not helped. He likes to attack it. Hopefully, it will recover.
ReplyDeleteMy 'Christmas' cactus bloomed just before Christmas and now it's blooming again. I think it must have decided to celebrate Easter, too. Not a bad idea - I like it.

Mine is doing the same thing as Adrienne's. It bloomed just before Christmas and is now putting out brand new blooms. Love it! :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Mine didn't bloom this year. Maybe I'll get a late surprise.
ReplyDeleteA surprise blessing!
