"It was George Eliot who earnestly inquired, 'Reader, have you ever drunk a cup of tea?' There is something undeniably heartwarming and conversation-making in a cup of steaming hot tea. . . It is an ideal prescription for banishing loneliness. Perhaps it is not so much the tea itself, as the circle of happy friends eager for a pleasant chat."

LaTeaDa Tea Room, Tillamook, Oregon
Your tea conversations have been lovely lately. Love that tearoom. I need to go again.
ReplyDeleteNo, it's the tea! LOL! It must be a tea afternoon as this is the third place I've discussed tea today. Specifically, I've been discussing Raspberry Zinger tea from Celestial Seasonings...hmmm...wonderful stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have so enjoyed your posts about tea time lately. Love all the pretty pics as well. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteLa Tea Dah, I did not know you had a tea room. Good for you. Wish I lived in Oregon, so I could go to it! Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I share tea quite often, especially in this cold and blustery weather. Today we had pumpkin pie flavored coffee. He is not a coffee drinker, but he is kind enough to drink a cup just for the sharing time with me. You blog is so pretty. Please visit mine sometime.
ReplyDeletegreat pictures on your blog!
Hi, my friend -
ReplyDeleteI think it's time for an early morning cup of tea! Love the photo of the tearoom in Tillamook. I wanted to go there in September when we were there with my sweetheart's siblings. I asked my sisters-in-law if they would like to have tea there and they said 'no way'. Decided not to pursue it until sometime when I can go with a friend - or with my sweetheart - or by myself for a quiet tea experience. Need to head that way sometime soon!

Looks like a beautiful tea room!
