Homes

By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

Proverbs 24: 3-4

O Lord, our God, our homes are Thine forever! We trust to thee their problems, toil and care. Their bonds of love no enemy can sever if Thou art always Lord and Master there. Be Thou the center of our least endeavor. Be thou the Guest, our hearts and homes to share.

Barbara Hart

May our homes be a place of warmth, laughter, and that all who visit would feel welcome and sense a special presence of our Lord.

  3. Beautiful post today! This is where our focus should always be - instead we fuss about how 'pretty' our homes are. Thank you for drawing us back to the most important goal for our homes.

  4. Love the photo. Now I am going to be looking for that cottage, very inviting. I love the thought here of inviting guests into our hearts and homes to share. That is what I like creating in my home and I am sure the same is in your home.

  5. Hello La Tea Dah....Oh yes, I do hope my home is a place where people feel welcome.

I'd actually like that little cottage, too. This house is too big at this point in our lives.Susan
