Thank you for all the wonderful, informative, interesting, friendly, tea-filled posts during our ten week blog-a-thon. I've enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends. Please come back and visit Gracious Hospitality again! When time permits, I will be linking all participants in my blog roll so we can continue to comment and share together. The blog roll will make it easier for us to continue to find one anothers blogs. Although the blog-a-thon is over, I will be posting other sharing events as time and inspiration allow. Please check back again and post in other events if you can. Bless you!What is tea?Noun | 1. | afternoon tea - a light midafternoon meal of tea and sandwiches or cakes; "an Englishman would interrupt a war to have his afternoon tea" |
A Cup of Tea
When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.
There is magic in its' fragrance,
There is solace in its' taste;
And then laden moments vanish
Somehow into space.
And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see;
All because you briefly stopped
To brew a cup of tea.
I can't believe it's over already! I got a little teary eyed reading this post. I have thoroughly enjoyed this event!
ReplyDeleteNo, my dear heart, thank you! This has been such a wonderful event. I can't begin to tell you how much I've enjoyed it; how much I loved visiting the other gals; and how much I learned.
ReplyDeleteCan you share the location of some of these tea rooms? I'm in Oregon, and some of the names sound familiar. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you are planning a blogroll. I have enjoyed visiting the tea related postings.
ReplyDeleteMillie
I always enjoy my visit here and I love the little cup of tea poem.

Thank you again for hosting. I am so glad I found you and have enjoyed participating and getting to know some other wonderful people with wonderful blogs! This has been a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteLa Te Dah, this blogathon has been a mixed blessing for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed participating, and visiting so many other colorful blogs as well as yours. But the downside is that I feel another collection coming on...I have seen so many cute, pretty, unusual etc. teapots in the thrift shops I visit, but resist buying them. Now thanks to you and your Tea Lovin' Friends, I'm going to start buying some of them. AAAAGHH...my husband is going to DIVORCE me over this! I have a thousand tablecloths and aprons, now teapots!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the blog-a-thon. Although I did not participate every week, I enjoyed reading the posts.
ReplyDeleteI'll be checking back to see what you might have in store for another blog-a-thon.

ReplyDeletePS- I love the poem! Did you write it, or do you have the author?
ReplyDeleteTea definitely is a noun! Thanks so much for all the blogging fun. It has been such a joy to meet new people online thanks to the Tea Blog A Thon. Looking forward to keeping in touch with the Tea Blogroll. God Bless you!

ReplyDeleteLaTeaDah ~ Thank you so very much for hosting this wonderful tea blogathon. I had such a great time participating and intended to continue through the remaining weeks. But life and family needed my attention, so to them I went.
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed meeting all the "tea ladies" and thank you for listing all of our blogs by way of a link on your sidebar. I'll be certain to visit you and them frequently!
