Customized Calendar Project

Most bloggers have digital files filled with their favorite photographs. There's something about blogging and photography that go hand in hand. But, if you are like me, you have many more pictures than blog posts! Occasionally it is fun to create something with the pictures one has taken. This year I decided to create my own desktop tea calendar. I chose some of my favorite photos from tea parties, china cabinets, tea picnics, and more. There are many companies online that make a project like this simple. It's easy to set up an account and then add your photos to it. They give you the tools to move things around, crop, and edit. Before long a personalized calendar is ready. Print "send" (along with payment, of course) and within a week you'll have your own personalized calendar in your mailbox. My calender this year was tea themed. Last year I used pictures of our son's wedding for a wedding themed calendar. What kind of pictures do you have in your digital files that would work nicely for a calendar?

  1. I've often thought of doing up a calendar, and having seen yours I think I'm more likely!

  2. We were given a calendar like this as a gift at Christmas. It had nature photos. I have thought of doing one with travel photos, tea photos, or special people/family photos. Maybe next year.

  3. Is this a test? =) I really don't remember what I said the first time around, but I do like this idea a lot and would like to try it very much. It would be a challenge for me to stick to a theme. Have you seen my blog lately? All over the map.

  4. I keep saying I will clean up all the pictures I have stored as I will never use them and they are just there taking up space. From this side of the world, I would never attempt to order anything that needed to be mailed. Costs way too much and might never, ever make it here. I've thought about using an old calendar to create a scrapbook. So I keep storing them away for that one day when inspiration strikes. :) Have a great day. Tammy
