The White, Green, Black, and Herb of Tea
Tell about your favorite tea. How do you prepare it and serve it? Milk and sugar? Plain? What are some of your best memories of serving or sipping on this tea? Share a picture if you can. Tell the health benefits of the tea(s) you prefer. Where do you purchase your tea? Is there someplace you enjoying purchasing tea from? Who from and where?
I have a weakness for a tea called “Sleeping Time.” It is just so relaxing. There is also a rose tea I like, but the name escapes me at this moment. I also enjoy peppermint teas. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't add anything to them as I like them just as they are.
mm..this will be fun..I will have to think about it for a bit..
ReplyDeletethanks for doing this. I have enjoyed it so much.

hello LaTeaDah!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got the linky things worked out. I'm looking forward to seeing peoples tea favorites and memories. Blessings...
I will post tomorrow, as I'm organizing a tea for the women's ministry I work with on campus here. It is our end of the year event, and I pushed for us to have a lovely TEA! (I am the hospitality chair). :) I hope it will be a smashing success.
ReplyDeleteMy post is up and I finally had to reveal my deep, dark secret. ;>
ReplyDeleteMr. Linky was being a real pain and I am sorry for the frustration that must have been.
Hope it's a great week for tea!
I'm looking forward to discovering some new teas in this week's posts!
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, sorry my post for the last two topics is not more interesting, but as you would see if you visit me, I just did not have a lot to write about this time! I've enjoyed reading the posts in other blogs about all the teas they drink, but I can't compete there! The recipes have been fun to read, but I do something different every time I serve an afternoon tea, so it is too much to ask me to find one favorite recipe!!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your blog and wish I'd found it sooner. I'm enjoying reading and viewing all the entries for your blog-a-thon. Please stop by my blog and see our "Bluebird Tea".
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hostessing such a great event! I can't wait to read all about everyone's favorite teas. ~Kathy

I'm sorry I have been missing the last couple of weeks. I have enjoyed participating in this. I was out-of-town and then playing catch up. I'm glad to be back!
ReplyDeletea little late this week but I got my post up!!! hope you are having a good week
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tea right now is Winter White Earl Grey. I purchase from Harney and Sons - http://harney.com.
ReplyDeleteI love the sweetness of tea which I am sure comes from the white tea, but I also like the robust flavor common for Earl Grey's.
Additionally, I love the convenience of loose teas packaged in the triangular silk sachets. I get the taste of a quality tea with the convenience of a tea bag.
There is a full review on my blog - Tea Escapade.
finally posted this week. haven't been keeping up as much as I had wanted to..but did post my favorite tea today.
ReplyDeleteThank you Garden Goose to alerting me to this meme. I have finished my post. Thank you for hosting.

ReplyDeleteMy post is up. A really lovely tea. Give it a try!
ReplyDeleteHi La Tea Dah,
ReplyDeleteto add a bit of a scholarly note to your latest Tea Blog-a-Thon, check out my article on White Tea.
Thanks for putting this on, it's a fantastic read through all the different angles on tea.

I like a good strong Breakfast Tea (Irish is my favorite) with milk and sugar thank you. I am passionate about herb teas - my favorites are a combination of peppermint and chamomile. Absolute favorite is called Pear Luna from Teavana. Also fond of a good Darjeeling, and very occasionally a smoky Lapsong Suchong. Ah the many pleasures of tea !
ReplyDeleteI am finally getting caught up with my post for this week.
