There are two ways to study butterflies: chase them with nets then inspect their dead bodies, or sit quietly in the garden and watch them dance among the flowers. Nongnuch Bassham
I remember chasing and catching butterflies for a science class when I was younger. I much prefer sitting back and watching them flitter about the garden, carefree!
and I choose: "Watching them dance among the flowers" such beauty, elegance, grace, solitude! Something I never tire of..the butterflies...oh, yes and don't forget the BIRDS!
Thank you for commenting on my blog post. I am always happy to hear from blog readers. Your words encourage and inspire me. I am glad you stopped by to share conversation, recipes, ideas, and thoughts on creating a welcoming home.
I like the second way best for studying butterflies, and with camera at hand of course.
