Snowflakes

Snowflakes
by L.A. Copp

Snowflakes spill from heaven's hand
Lovely and chaste like smooth white sand.
A veil of wonder laced in light
Falling Gently on a winters night.
Graceful beauty raining down
Giving magic to the lifeless ground.
Each snowflake like a falling star
Smiling beauty that's spun afar.
Till earth is dressed in a robe of white
Unspoken poem the hush of night.

  1. So nice to see your post!!! Love the poem. We don't get snow often here in Texas, but I could visualize and "feel" the snow from your poem!!!

    Blessed Merry Christmas

  5. So you have snow? That is good. We had a big promise for a real Nor'easter, though it's not going to materialize. I am not unhappy, though I'd like a little snow for Christmas. We can still find green grass.

A lovely poem...gives one the same sort of peace that happens when watching snow fall.

Hope that you're keeping things merry over there!

  6. No snowflakes here so we'll have a green Christmas. I do wish we had a little snow though to make it "feel" more like Christmas. Oh well...

    Merry Christmas LaDonna!

  8. Love your photos and the poem. Wish we had a few snowflakes for Christmas, but I have a feeling it will be grey skies and wet rain. Today is gloriously blue skies and I can see Mt. St. Helens from my kitchen window.
