Snowflakes spill from heaven's hand
Lovely and chaste like smooth white sand.
A veil of wonder laced in light
Falling Gently on a winters night.
Graceful beauty raining down
Giving magic to the lifeless ground.
Each snowflake like a falling star
Smiling beauty that's spun afar.
Till earth is dressed in a robe of white
Unspoken poem the hush of night.
So nice to see your post!!! Love the poem. We don't get snow often here in Texas, but I could visualize and "feel" the snow from your poem!!!ReplyDelete
Blessed Merry Christmas
Hi La Tea Dah!ReplyDelete
I think we are going to have a white Christmas as snow is predicted.
How about you guys? Take care and have a beautiful week. Susan
Best wishes to you and your family for a happy holiday and wonderful 2012!ReplyDelete
Wonderful pics and lovely poem. Christmas blessings!ReplyDelete
So you have snow? That is good. We had a big promise for a real Nor'easter, though it's not going to materialize. I am not unhappy, though I'd like a little snow for Christmas. We can still find green grass.ReplyDelete
A lovely poem...gives one the same sort of peace that happens when watching snow fall.
Hope that you're keeping things merry over there!
No snowflakes here so we'll have a green Christmas. I do wish we had a little snow though to make it "feel" more like Christmas. Oh well...ReplyDelete
Merry Christmas LaDonna!
Lovely photos...lovely poem. Thanks so much. And a Merry Christmas to you and yours!ReplyDelete
Love your photos and the poem. Wish we had a few snowflakes for Christmas, but I have a feeling it will be grey skies and wet rain. Today is gloriously blue skies and I can see Mt. St. Helens from my kitchen window.ReplyDelete
I really like this post. I love the poem and the way you presented the photos. Merry Christmas dear blog friend.ReplyDelete
