Snowflakes
by L.A. Copp
Snowflakes spill from heaven's hand
Lovely and chaste like smooth white sand.
A veil of wonder laced in light
Falling Gently on a winters night.
Graceful beauty raining down
Giving magic to the lifeless ground.
Each snowflake like a falling star
Smiling beauty that's spun afar.
Till earth is dressed in a robe of white
Unspoken poem the hush of night.
So nice to see your post!!! Love the poem. We don't get snow often here in Texas, but I could visualize and "feel" the snow from your poem!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessed Merry Christmas
Hi La Tea Dah!
ReplyDeleteI think we are going to have a white Christmas as snow is predicted.
How about you guys? Take care and have a beautiful week. Susan
Best wishes to you and your family for a happy holiday and wonderful 2012!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics and lovely poem. Christmas blessings!
ReplyDeleteSo you have snow? That is good. We had a big promise for a real Nor'easter, though it's not going to materialize. I am not unhappy, though I'd like a little snow for Christmas. We can still find green grass.
ReplyDeleteA lovely poem...gives one the same sort of peace that happens when watching snow fall.
Hope that you're keeping things merry over there!
No snowflakes here so we'll have a green Christmas. I do wish we had a little snow though to make it "feel" more like Christmas. Oh well...
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas LaDonna!
Lovely photos...lovely poem. Thanks so much. And a Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Love your photos and the poem. Wish we had a few snowflakes for Christmas, but I have a feeling it will be grey skies and wet rain. Today is gloriously blue skies and I can see Mt. St. Helens from my kitchen window.
ReplyDeleteI really like this post. I love the poem and the way you presented the photos. Merry Christmas dear blog friend.
