I've been busy with my dear, little mother's needs and I had a few days away camping with girlfriends. I LOVE the yellow fabric you used for the apron. Would love to see your aprons. My mother's best friend taught me how to sew. Then she taught my mother! I became my mother's sewing mentor through the years. It wasn't something she enjoyed but she made incredible doll clothes when I was young - most from 'recycled' fabrics from clothing that wasn't being worn anymore. I still have most of the doll clothes she made for me.
~Adrienne~Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09401476871614514660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18734696.post-68174141187693304642014-05-29T05:46:21.529-07:002014-05-29T05:46:21.529-07:00What a fun post! My great-grandmother and grandmother were excellent seamstress but that seems to be where the gene pool ended as my Mother did not sew. Being able to sew well seems so creative and relaxing.
Rochelle, ATAAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18734696.post-55383431390762002192014-05-28T18:57:39.576-07:002014-05-28T18:57:39.576-07:00How lovely to have a mother that you could learn s...How lovely to have a mother that you could learn sewing from.Marilyn Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13115440271615593122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18734696.post-59588194458795130622014-05-28T17:29:09.245-07:002014-05-28T17:29:09.245-07:00I do things like that - things that are little sho...I do things like that - things that are little shortcuts the way my mother taught me.
