Colorful Leaves and Campfires

Autumn. The season of colorful leaves, campfires, hot drinks, chilly days, fellowship, and friendly smiles. The mountain was chilly with patches of snow, but warm fires, hot food, and a cozy cabin created an atmosphere that promoted relaxation and happy conversation. Listening to twenty-somethings talk about life is always interesting! And the boys were no exception yesterday as their conversation flowed from topic to topic. Snow covered mountain ridges on the shadow side, and graced the tops of the highest peaks. A chill in the air served as a reminder that autumn will soon be just a memory as winter sets in soon! It's time to enjoy autumn to the max!

Just you and the boys. How fun to spend time with them all at the cabin, roasting marshmellows and drinking hot drinks. It looked like a perfect weekend.

What a great way to spend time together! And we have to take every chance to 'grab' these last autumn days before winter arrives and changes the complexion of our days. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your family and your world! ~Adrienne~
