A Happy 4th with Friends

I hope your 4th of July holiday was relaxed and happy. This mid-summer holiday is a popular time for family reunions, weddings, and time with friends. Our family was no exception, enjoying a wonderful time with friends and an energetic handful of youth! There's something so refreshing and inspiring about being around the optimism of the 20-something and younger sets. It's people that make gracious hospitality meaningful, and young people are the cream at the top of the cup!

Sharing a sisterly hug.

And pondering life by the campfire.

Gathering wildflowers.

Chatting about cameras and wishing mom would disappear with hers!

Making silly faces and sharing a laugh together.

Enjoying the quiet of the mountain top and a happy time with friends.

Sharing a laugh and posing for mom with that camera again!

Happy July!

The surrounding mountains are beautiful, as are the faces of your family and friends. Made me smile to look at them.

It looks like everyone had a great time despite mom having that camera, lol!

I love this whole series of photos, especially the one of everyone looking over the mountain.

I'm glad your family and friends like to enjoy your cabin with you. Ours is so far from home that only one relative, and none of our friends, have ever wanted to go there.
